Creating Plans

Set up a new subscription plan:

Navigate to Subscriptions

Go to Subscriptions → Plans in your dashboard.

Click Create Plan

Click the Create Plan button.

Enter Plan Details

Fill in the plan information:

  • Plan Name - Clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Premium Monthly")
  • Description - What the customer gets with this plan
  • Price - Amount to charge per billing cycle
  • Billing Interval - How often to charge

Configure Options

Set additional options:

  • Trial Period - Optional free trial before first charge
  • Setup Fee - One-time charge at signup (optional)

Save Plan

Click Save Plan to create it.

Billing Intervals

Choose how often customers are billed:

Custom Intervals
You can set custom intervals like "every 2 months" or "every 3 weeks" by specifying the interval count along with the period.

Plan Pricing

Configure your plan's pricing structure:

Regular Price

The amount charged each billing cycle. Enter the price in Naira.

Trial Period

Offer new subscribers a free trial before their first payment:

  • Trial Days - Number of days before first charge (e.g., 7, 14, 30)
  • Customer pays ₦0 during trial
  • Card or bank authorization may still be required
  • After trial, regular billing begins automatically

Setup Fee

A one-time fee charged when customer first subscribes:

  • Charged immediately at signup
  • Separate from the recurring subscription price
  • Useful for onboarding costs, activation fees, or initial materials

Plan Status

Plans can have different statuses:

Active

Plan is available for new subscribers and existing subscriptions continue.

Inactive

Plan is hidden from new subscribers but existing subscriptions continue.

Archived

Plan is completely hidden and no new subscriptions can be created.

Editing Plans

You can modify existing plans, but some changes affect existing subscribers:

Safe to Change (No Impact on Existing Subscribers)

  • Plan name and description
  • Trial period (only affects new subscribers)
  • Plan status

Changes That Affect Existing Subscribers

  • Price Changes - Can choose to apply to existing or new only
  • Billing Interval - Not recommended to change with active subscribers
Price Changes
When changing a plan's price, you'll be asked whether to apply the new price to existing subscribers or only new signups.

Click on a plan to view its details.

Copy Checkout Link

Find the Checkout URL section and click Copy Link.

Share with Customers

Share the link via email, social media, your website, or messaging apps.

Checkout Page Features

The checkout page automatically includes:

  • Your store branding (logo, colors)
  • Plan details and pricing
  • Customer information form
  • Bank transfer payment option
  • Clear billing terms and next charge date

Plan Metrics

Track how your plans are performing:

  • Active Subscribers - Current paying customers
  • Total Revenue - Lifetime earnings from the plan
  • MRR - Monthly Recurring Revenue
  • Churn Rate - Percentage of customers who cancel

Best Practices

  • Clear Naming - Use descriptive names like "Pro Monthly" or "Basic Annual" so customers understand what they're getting.
  • Value Description - Clearly list what's included in each plan to help customers choose.
  • Annual Discounts - Consider offering discounts for yearly plans to improve retention.
  • Trial Periods - Offer trials for premium plans to let customers experience value before committing.
