Configure your business profile, settlement accounts, KYC verification, and account settings.

Business Information

Update your business details that appear on invoices and communications:

Navigate to Settings in your dashboard and select the Profile tab. The Business Information section shows the following details from your account:

  • Account Owner - Your first and last name as entered at signup
  • Business Name - Legal or trading name registered with Vaendora
  • RC/BN Number - CAC registration or business number
  • TIN - Tax Identification Number (if provided)
  • BVN - Bank Verification Number (partially masked for security)
  • Email - Primary account email address
  • Phone - Business phone number
  • Address - Business address

Contact Details

Keep your contact information up to date:

  • Email Address - Primary contact email
  • Phone Number - Business phone number
  • Address - Business address
  • City - City/town
  • State - State/region
Email Verification
Changing your email address requires verification via a confirmation link.

Settlement Account

Configure where you receive your payments:

Adding a Bank Account

Go to Settlement Settings

Navigate to Settings → Settlement Account.

Enter Bank Details

Provide your bank account information:

  • Bank Name - Select from the list
  • Account Number - Your 10-digit account number

Verify Account

The account name will be automatically fetched and verified. Ensure it matches your business name or personal name.

Save Account

Click Save to set this as your settlement account.

Account Name Match
Your bank account name must match your registered business name or personal name. Mismatched accounts may delay settlements.

Settlement Schedule

Understand when you receive your funds:

  • Instant Settlement - Funds arrive immediately after payment confirmation
  • Fees - Transaction fees are deducted before settlement
  • Minimum - No minimum settlement amount

BVN Verification

Your BVN is required to verify your identity:

  1. Enter your 11-digit BVN
  2. Verification is done automatically
  3. Your name and date of birth must match your profile

Document Requirements

For registered businesses:

  • CAC Certificate - Certificate of Incorporation
  • Utility Bill - Proof of business address (dated within 3 months)
  • ID Card - Government-issued ID of a director

For individuals:

  • Government ID - NIN, Driver's License, or International Passport
  • Utility Bill - Proof of address (optional)

Verification Status

Pending

Documents are being reviewed

Verified

Account is fully verified

Rejected

Documents need to be resubmitted

API Keys

Access your API credentials for integrations:

Navigate to API Keys

Go to Settings → API Keys.

View Your Keys

Your API credentials are displayed:

  • Merchant ID - Your unique merchant identifier
  • Live API Key - For production payments
  • Test API Key - For test mode payments

Copy Keys

Click the copy button to copy keys to your clipboard.

Keep Keys Secret
Never share your API keys publicly or commit them to version control. Treat them like passwords.

Regenerating API Keys

If you believe your keys have been compromised:

  1. Click Regenerate next to the key
  2. Confirm the action
  3. Update the key in all your integrations
  4. The old key stops working immediately

Test Mode

Toggle between test and live mode:

  • Test Mode - Simulated payments for development
  • Live Mode - Real payments from customers

In test mode:

  • Payments are simulated and not real
  • Transaction references start with VPY-TEST
  • No money is transferred
  • Use for integration testing

Notification Preferences

Control what notifications you receive:

  • Payment Received - Alert when a payment is confirmed
  • New Order - Notification for new storefront orders
  • Low Stock - Alert when products are running low
  • Subscription Events - New subscribers, cancellations, etc.

  • Email - Receive notifications to your email address
  • Dashboard - See notifications in your Vaendora dashboard
