Simple Product
A single product without variations. Perfect for items that come in one size, color, or configuration. Examples: books, single accessories, one-size items.
Variable Product
Products with multiple options like size, color, or material. Each combination can have its own price, SKU, and inventory. Examples: clothing, shoes, customizable items.
Digital Product
Downloadable products that don't require shipping. Customers receive download links after purchase. Examples: ebooks, software, music, templates.
Product Variations
Variable products allow you to offer the same product in different options. Here's how to set up variations:
Creating Attributes
Select Variable Product Type
When creating or editing a product, choose Variable as the product type.
Add Attributes
In the Attributes section, click Add Attribute and enter:
- Name - e.g., "Size", "Color", "Material"

Inventory Management
Keep track of your stock levels to avoid overselling:
Inventory Settings
- Stock Quantity - Current number of items available
- SKU - Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier for each product/variation

A discounted price that temporarily replaces the regular price. When a sale price is set, customers will see:
- The original price crossed out

Product Images
High-quality images are essential for online sales. Here's how to manage product images:

- Click to browse and select files from your computer
- Multiple images - Upload up to 10 images per product
Image Requirements
- Format - JPEG, PNG, or WebP

- By SKU match - The product is skipped to prevent duplicates
- By name match - You can choose to skip, update, or create as new
AI Description Optimization
Vaendora includes a built-in AI tool that rewrites your product descriptions to be more detailed, structured, and optimized for both search engines and AI assistants. This feature is available on both the new product and edit product forms.
How to Optimize a Description
Write Your Initial Description
Enter a basic product description with at least 20 characters. Include details like materials, dimensions, ingredients, or key features - the more context you provide, the better the AI result.
Click Optimize for AI Visibility
Click the Optimize for AI Visibility button next to the Description label. The AI will analyze your product name and description to generate an improved version.
Review the Preview
An AI-Optimized Description Preview appears below the description field. This shows the enhanced version with better structure, keywords, and detail.
Apply or Discard
Click Apply to replace your current description with the optimized version, or Discard to keep your original. You can always edit further after applying.
What the AI Improves
Search Listing Optimization
Each product has a collapsible Search Listing Optimization section at the bottom of the product form. This section lets you control how your product appears in search engine results and AI answer listings.
AI-Powered Search Optimization
Click Optimize Search Listing to have the AI generate:
Search Title
A concise, keyword-rich title (up to 60 characters) optimized for search results. For example, "Blue Bag" might become "Handcrafted Blue Leather Crossbody Bag - Nigerian Artisan Made".
Search Description
A meta description (up to 160 characters) that summarizes your product for search result snippets and AI citation cards.
Image ALT Texts
The AI vision model analyzes each product image and generates accurate, descriptive ALT text based on what is actually visible in each photo, including colors, materials, angles, and styling.
Editing Search Listing Fields
After AI generates your search listing content, you can manually edit any field:
- Click the pencil icon next to a field to switch to edit mode
- Make your changes, then click the check icon to confirm
- Click Regenerate to have the AI create new content based on your latest product details
Tip

Use the checkboxes to select the products you want to optimize. You can select all products using the header checkbox.
Choose Optimization Type
Click Optimize Descriptions to enhance product descriptions, or Optimize Search Listings to generate search titles, meta descriptions, and image ALT texts.
Wait for Processing
The AI processes products in batches of up to 50. A loading indicator shows while optimization is in progress. Larger selections may take a few minutes.
