Eligibility Requirements
Email hosting is available for domains where Vaendora controls the DNS:
  • Purchased domains - Domains bought through Vaendora
  • Nameserver domains - External domains pointing to our nameservers (ns1-4.junndigital.com)
External subdomains connected via CNAME are not eligible for email hosting as we don't control the DNS/MX records.

Creating Mailboxes

Set up a new email account:

Navigate to Email

Go to Storefront → Email in your dashboard.

Select Your Domain

Choose which domain you want to create the email address for.

Click Create Mailbox

Click the Create Mailbox button.

Enter Email Details

Fill in the mailbox information:

  • Local Part - The part before @ (e.g., "hello", "support")
  • Password - Secure password for the mailbox

Create Mailbox

Click Create to provision the mailbox.

Mailbox Limits

Each mailbox includes:

  • Storage - Email storage capacity (varies by plan)
  • Attachments - Up to 25MB per email
  • Aliases - Additional email addresses pointing to the same mailbox

After creating a mailbox, you'll receive configuration details for connecting email clients like Gmail, Outlook, or mobile apps.

When you create a mailbox, the exact configuration details are displayed in your dashboard. Copy them from there for accuracy.

Webmail Access

Access your email from any web browser without configuring an email client:

Open Webmail

Go to the webmail URL provided in your email dashboard.

Login

Enter your full email address and password.

Access Your Inbox

You can now read, send, and manage emails from the browser.

Email Client Setup

Connect your mailbox to popular email applications:

Gmail (Fetching via POP/IMAP)

  1. Open Gmail Settings
  2. Go to Accounts and Import
  3. Click Add a mail account
  4. Enter your email address and follow the prompts
  5. Use the IMAP settings provided above

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Go to File → Add Account
  2. Choose Manual setup
  3. Select IMAP
  4. Enter the server settings from your dashboard

Mobile Apps (iPhone/Android)

  1. Open your device's email app
  2. Add a new account
  3. Choose Other or IMAP
  4. Enter your email and password
  5. Configure incoming and outgoing server settings

Managing Mailboxes

Actions you can take with your mailboxes:

Change Password

Update the mailbox password from your email dashboard. You'll need to update the password in any email clients that use this account.

Delete Mailbox

Remove a mailbox when it's no longer needed. This permanently deletes all emails in the mailbox.

Data Loss
Deleting a mailbox permanently removes all emails. Make sure to backup any important messages before deleting.

Troubleshooting

Cannot Receive Emails

  • Check that MX records are configured correctly for your domain
  • Verify the mailbox exists and is active
  • Check spam/junk folders
  • Ensure storage quota is not exceeded

Cannot Send Emails

  • Verify SMTP settings are correct
  • Check that authentication is enabled
  • Ensure you're using the correct port (465 or 587)
  • Verify your password is correct

Emails Going to Spam

  • Ensure SPF and DKIM records are configured
  • Build sending reputation gradually
  • Avoid spam trigger words in subject lines
  • Include an unsubscribe link in marketing emails
